Dive Into Confidence: The Ocean Comfort Course

Build your foundation and find your flow in the water! The Ocean Comfort Course is a unique, one-day experience designed to help you feel at home in the sea. This program's mission is to bridge the gap between the community and the water. Whether you are just starting your aquatic journey or looking to take your first breath underwater, this event is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering environment.

Available Opportunities

• Community Swim Lessons, 10AM-12PM (35 Spots): Build foundational water safety and swimming skills with our swim instructors. These sessions are open to the community at no cost.
• Discover Scuba Diving, 1PM-4PM (15 Spots): Experience the weightless sensation of scuba diving! This introductory session allows you to try professional gear and learn basic underwater skills in the comfort of the pool.
• Network & Cheer (25 Spots): Not ready to dive in? You are still invited! Join us poolside to meet the team, learn about our programs, and enjoy the community atmosphere.
  

Refreshments: We will have light snacks and refreshments available for all participants and their families to keep everyone hydrated and energized throughout the day!

Important Information: Registration & Gear Commitment

To ensure we remain responsible stewards of our nonprofit funding and to make sure every available spot is utilized by an eager participant, please note the following for Discover Scuba registration:

• Free Instruction: All coaching, safety briefings, and guided instruction are provided entirely free of charge.
• Gear Rental & Maintenance Fee: A $10 sliding scale fee is requested at registration for Discovery SCUBA. This contribution goes directly toward the specialized rental, transport, and sanitization of the SCUBA life-support equipment (tanks, BCDs, and regulators)

Why we do this: By implementing this small commitment fee, we ensure that our limited resources are used effectively and that every reserved tank is used by a community member.

Note: All who registered for the Swimming Lessons and Discovery SCUBA Dive will be required to fill-out the medical liability & photo release form after registering.
